Redwood National Park

Campfire and fire-use rules for this area, with each localized order the land manager has published.

Campfires only in developed sites.

Developed sites

Park fire regulation generally prohibits lighting or maintaining fires except in designated areas and receptacles: campfires are permitted in park-provided grills or designated sites in campgrounds, picnic areas and backcountry campsites. All fires are prohibited during very high or extreme fire danger as posted. Redwood Creek permit holders may build fires only on gravel bars, and fires may be built on beach wave slopes but not on vegetation.
