These tables describe published coverage as of 2026-09-08. Check the Offline column before relying on a layer without a connection.
Vintage is the date or period of the source data. Published is when that version was made available in Glassing. Unknown means the date was not supplied. Missing coverage does not mean there are no features or access restrictions in that area.
Terrain
Elevation data used for shaded relief, slope angle and aspect, and point elevations. Slope uses terrain at roughly a 10 m scale. Angle shows steepness; Aspect shows which direction a hillside faces. See Maps and layers.

Contours

Trails
Trails and two-tracks from OpenStreetMap, plus Forest Service and BLM trails and roads that OpenStreetMap doesn't have. Zoom in to see names, junctions, and distances between junctions. Trails no source has mapped will be missing.
Named features
Named features such as springs, waterfalls, basins, passes, and ridges. The layer combines geographic names with water features.

Street addresses
House-number ranges for address search, from the U.S. Census Bureau. Each address is placed along its block, on the correct side of the street, but not always at its door. Downloaded maps include the addresses within about 250 miles of them. See Find a place, address, or coordinate.
